52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards headline David Attenborough, 99, is oldest winner

Sir David Attenborough became the oldest person to win a Daytime Emmy on Oct 17, when he took home the award at age 99.
Attenborough, the British naturalist and broadcaster who will turn 100 in May 2026, broke the record set in 2024 by American actor Dick Van Dyke, who at 98 won for an appearance on American soap opera Days Of Our Lives (1965 to present).
Attenborough secured the Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Personality - Non-Daily for his work on Netflix’s Secret Lives Of Orangutans (2024).
