From sensing brain activities to big data, quantum technologies have an impact on various domains, affecting our daily lives in many different ways.
Boosting India's capabilities, the International Symposium on Quantum Computing and Innovations (ISQCI), every year brings together top-tier scientists, engineers and industry leaders to showcase the latest breakthroughs in quantum computing, cryptography and artificial intelligence.
The second edition of ISQCI-2024, themed 'Exploring the Future Frontiers of Quantum Technologies', commenced on 17 December, following the success of its inaugural event at IIT-BHU in 2023. This year's symposium was jointly inaugurated by C-DAC Kolkata, C-DAC, Patna and C-DAC, North-East (CINE), in collaboration with the University of Calcutta, pushing India's involvement in becoming a global leader in quantum technologies. This event reflected the government's strategic focus on quantum research and innovation, with an eye on positioning India as a global technology powerhouse.
