Punjab Kings Hunt Down Knight Riders In Low-Scoring Thriller

Yuzvendra Chahal claimed a four-wicket haul as Punjab Kings edged past defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 16 runs in a low-scoring Indian Premier League (IPL) clash here on Tuesday evening.
In a match dominated by the bowlers of both teams, KKR bundled out Punjab for 111 runs in 15.3 overs before the hosts produced an even more incisive bowling performance to restrict the visitors to a mere 95 in 15.1 overs.
The KKR chase ran into trouble right at the start with openers Sunil Narine and Quinton de Kock returning to the dugout within the first couple of overs.
Thereafter, Angkrish Raghuvanshi - who top-scored with 37 - and skipper Ajinkya Rahane seemed to be guiding the visitors to victory with a 55-run partnership off 55 deliveries before the introduction of Chahal into the attack turned the match on its head.
The leg-spinner dismissed both Raghuvanshi and Rahane in consecutive overs to stall the visitors' momentum before Glenn Maxwell trapped Venkatesh Iyer leg before to leave KKR struggling at 74/5 in the 11th over.
