NCSCholds review meet with railway management on SC employees’ rights

The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) convened a review meeting yesterday with the management of Eastern Railway and South Eastern Railway at Eastern Railway headquarters.

The meeting was aimed at safeguarding the rights and ensuring the welfare of Scheduled Caste employees in the organisation. Key issues related to reservation for Scheduled Caste (SC) employees, backlog vacancies, welfare measures, grievance-redressal mechanisms and other employee-related concerns were discussed in detail.
