Mumbai Indians defeated a spirited Gujarat Titans by 20 runs in the IPL 2025 Eliminator at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Friday.
The victory was built on a superb batting performance by Mumbai with former skipper Rohit Sharma managing to find his form after a long time to emerge as the top scorer with 81 runs off 50 deliveries. Needing 229 to win, Gujarat seemed to be cruising to victory at one point after a shaky start before the pressure of the formidable target seemed to get to them.
