Dry spell in Southern Bengal, scattered rains expected mid-week, says Weather Office

The southern parts of West Bengal, including Kolkata, are likely to experience predominantly dry weather over the next few days, the Regional Meteorological Centre in Alipore said on Sunday.
While isolated places may see light rain intermittently, the weather office ruled out any immediate threat of heavy thunderstorms or downpours.
Daytime temperatures are expected to gradually rise across the region, with a significant spike anticipated mid-week.
