BSF Kills Smuggler in Clash on Border

A BSF patrol party was attacked by Bangladeshi smugglers in Jalpaiguri; one jawan injured in the incident
Border Security Force (BSF) party on duty in the border area of Khalpara village, under Rajganj Police Station in Jalpaiguri, was attacked by a group of miscreants early this morning.
The clash resulted in the death of one Bangladeshi smuggler and left a BSF jawan injured.
According to reports, a group of over 15 Bangladeshi miscreants illegally crossed the Indo-Bangladesh border by breaching the fencing and entered Indian territory. They were joined by miscreants from the Indian side, with the intention of smuggling cattle and contraband goods.
