State rocked over miscreants setting fire to minor girl

The public outrage over the self-immolation of a girl student at FM College, Balasore on 12 July was further fuelled on Saturday with another ghastly incident in Puri district.
A minor girl was waylaid by three masked miscreants at around 8 am and taken to an isolated place where she was set ablaze.
Opposition BJD leaders rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar and staged a protest when they were denied entry to the burn ward where the girl was admitted. The BJD alleged that a few ruling BJP members had been inside the ward but they were prevented.
