KCR Indicted in Judicial Commission's Report on Kaleshwaram Project

Former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was on Monday indicted by the independent judicial commission headed by retired justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh in the Kaleshwaram Project, which said that the project was characterized by rampant and brazen procedural and financial irregularities in its report.
He was also blamed for the cracks in the pillars of the barrages as the report pointed out that Rao had used them for continuously storing water instead of diverting the water.
The report was placed before the state Cabinet today. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the report of the Kaleshwaram dam would be debated in the Assembly and the government will then decide on further action.
