Bulls have plenty of work to do, says Xaba
The Star
|July 29, 2025
BULLS captain Nama Xaba has warned that the Currie Cup competition is still warming up and will only improve, despite their 48-23 demolition of Western Province last weekend in Cape Town.
The Bulls celebrated Xaba’s birthday and his return to his former home town with a first-half blitz that produced five tries and forced Province to concede four yellow cards.
The home team fought back in the second half, and allowing Province back into the game is an area Xaba says his team is working on ahead of entertaining the Sharks this weekend in round two.
