Warning over disposal of asbestos at county tips

A NEW campaign to cut the risks of incorrectly disposed asbestos at the county's Household Waste Recycling Centres has been launched.
-
Asbestos is a hazardous material commonly found in homes built before 2000.
Improperly bagged or unsealed asbestos waste poses a serious health risk to site staff and the public, and the council is urging residents to follow safety guidelines when taking asbestos to the sites.
