TOKE City are holding a referendum about a potential change to the club badge after months of consultation with supporters.

Stoke have long been aware of an appetite among the fanbase to explore alternative options for their crest, which was launched in 2001. The club had worn the city coat of arms on its shirt for the previous nine years and has had two other variations over the 50 years or so before that.

Now supporters will get a chance to choose whether to go ahead with a new badge or stick with the current one. The poll will be open until 6pm on Saturday, August 2 and will be hosted, counted and verified by independent data specialists Two Circles.
