A PREDATOR has narrowly avoided prison after he tried to meet '13-year-old Ellie' for sex.

Mitchell Taylor, inset, headed to Stoke Railway Station on May 28, 2021 - only to be confronted by a paedophile hunter group.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard how the 26-year-old - who was 22 at the time - had messaged several accounts of girls under the age of 16. On one occasion he told a 13-year-old he 'liked young girls'.
