Separate sports bar at Horn and Trumpet
A WATERING hole has reopened after undergoing a £432,000 transformation to split the place in two.
The Horn and Trumpet, in Daisy Bank Road, had been closed for three weeks to 'jazz the place up' and install a partitioning wall for punters.
Customers now have the option to sit in the 'sports bar' section of the Marston's pub on the left side of the building - or for a more relaxed experience, people are welcome to sit in the lounge where meals are generally served to the right of the building.
According to landlord Dan Maddox, 41, pictured above, the new layout has been mostly well received by customers at the dog-friendly venue.
