Fresh police plea to track masked gang who pounced on woman
THIS is the cabinet containing thousands of pounds worth of jewellery that was stolen when a masked gang pounced on a woman returning home from work.
Three raiders smashed the back passenger windows of her car and took three cabinets and three boxes containing gold and silver.
Two cabinets were recovered at the scene, in Tean Road, Cheadle, but the gang fled with one, containing jewellery valued at about £20,000.
A man who tried to stop the robbers needed treatment from paramedics for an injured arm.
