Venue’s first makeover in 31 years aims to tackle queues

- Yasmin Sarwar

CUSTOMERS can expect shorter waits to get a drink after a pub’s bar underwent its first changes in more than three decades.

The new bar at the Bulls Head, in Burslem, is just one part of a transformation that also includes new tills, new beer lines, and a total cellar refurbishment.

Craig and Loren Skelding, who own the Titanic Brewery venue in St John’s Square, said the new setup will improve efficiency when customers order their drinks. Before the changes, the pub only had one till and would see punters queuing for their drinks.
