They're welcoming customers to 1950s-inspired ice cream parlour - after 'three months' work in 7 days'

- Yasmin Sarwar

A MARRIED couple of 23 years have introduced an ice cream parlour at their 50s-inspired shop. Raymond McFarlane and wife Debbie Birchall-McFarlane opened the Bennett Precinct store in Longton 'to make people happy'.

After originally opening as Bombs R Us last summer, the couple have grown the business and have renamed it Pamperlicious, which is located on the first floor.

The ground floor is home to Nibbles & Dreams sweet shop, Doodles Box Braids and the new ice cream parlour - all of which come under the Crazy Dreams Limited umbrella.

Now, customers can grab some Kelly's of Cornwall ice cream along with both traditional and modern sweets, bath bombs, candles, incense, skincare products, soaps, shower steamers, bath towels and bathroom gifts. The couple wanted to do something to allow people to indulge and treat themselves, after Raymond went through a dark patch in his life.
