Man broke restraining order twice within 5 days of being let out of prison

He visited property he was banned from and stole a radio while there

'CHAOTIC' Steven Cartlidge broke his restraining order twice in four hours - just five days after being freed from prison.

The 46-year-old stole a radio when he went to the prohibited Longton address - and then returned to the property hours later.

Now homeless Cartlidge has been jailed for 18 months and handed a 10-year restraining order to stay away from the property and not contact the owner.

Ella Worsley, prosecuting, said: “On November 4 the defendant attended the address and knocked on the door which woke the occupant. She asked ‘Who's there?’ and he said ‘It's me.
