Action group urges residents to give their views on multiple housing plans

HOUSING developments that 'could see the end of Eccleshall as we know it' will come under scrutiny at a public meeting next month.

Action group We Love Eccleshall has been formed to campaign against a host of plans that could see 'up to 1,500' homes built.

Proposals include more than 500 new homes earmarked for the eastern edge of Eccleshall, to the west of Blurtons Lane.

This year representatives from Bloor Homes, Sulis Public Affairs and Pegasus Planning attended a meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council's planning committee to give a presentation.

Residents are concerned about other potential developments in the pipeline too, with 10 sites identified across Eccleshall.
