Hanley continue their adventure in the FA Vase, but Abbey Hulton are knocked out after late drama

HANLEY TOWN reached the third round of the Isuzu FA Vase for only the second time in their history following a 3-1 home win over Kimberley Miners Welfare.
TOP ROLE: Jack van der Laan was on the scoresheet as Hanley Town progressed in the FA Vase.
Joe Minshall had a header saved by Tom Smith as Hanley went forward and they took a 21st-minute lead. Jack Van der Laan scored it with a fine free-kick given for handball that nestled inside the far post.
Hanley were dominating possession and Lewis Porter had a goal disallowed before they doubled their lead in the 59th minute.
