Dumped man hurt ex's knee after finding her dating apps

Assault was just part of three-month harrassment campaign

DUMPED David Willshaw subjected his ex-partner to a three-month harassment campaign.

The 37-year-old damaged his victim's property, assaulted her, and followed her between December 2024 and February this year.

North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard Willshaw refused to accept the breakdown of the relationship.

He then showed up uninvited to her location, made unwanted phone calls, and bombarded her with Instagram messages.

Following his arrest, Willshaw later breached his bail conditions after violating a no-contact order.

Prosecutor Zaine Riaz told the court: "The defendant and the complainant had been in a four-year relationship. The relationship ended in December 2024.
