RICHARD Duffy was pleased his Congleton Town team picked up a first win of the campaign and reckons they are 'finding their feet.

The fact it came in the FA Cup not the Northern Premier League West Division was of no consequence to the former Port Vale fullback.

His concern was to find a way to bounce back from an opening day defeat at Sporting Khalsa and continue from the positives of an improved 2-2 midweek draw against Mossley.

The 3-0 triumph against Padiham has set up a first qualifying round clash away to Widnes on August 30.
