ANGRY Nathan Timmis subjected his ex-partner to a 'nasty assault' in her own home - after she blocked him on social media.

The 34-year-old demanded to be unblocked from her Snapchat account after the pair had been out drinking together.

He then punched her to the face and body leaving her with significant injuries which required hospital treatment.

Now Timmis, below, has been sentenced to 13 months in prison, suspended for two years, at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

The court heard the defendant and his victim were together for four years and have a child before she ended the relationship. But on June 1 last year they went out with friends.
