NEW CHAPTER FOR E-READERS WITH DEVICE YOU ATTACH TO YOUR PHONE

- JUSTIN CONNOLLY

A LITTLE LIGHT READING

THEY say the best camera is the one you have with you... and that's usually the one in your pocket. Your phone.

Is the same true about books, I wonder? There are some excellent book apps out there, of course Amazon's Kindle and Apple's Books chief among them.

But a phone screen is still a phone screen and is not necessarily ideal for long reading sessions.

That's essentially why e-ink exists it's easier on the eye and most closely replicates the look of ink on paper.

So you need another device for the best experience, and for that, we're likely talking about an Amazon Kindle or one of Kobo's excellent e-readers.

But now there's a third way. What if you could add an e-ink screen to your phone?
