106 injuries reported by workers in 24/25
ALMOST 800 attacks have been launched against county council staff in the past three years, shock new figures show.
Workplace injury claim specialists Legal Expert obtained FOI requests from Staffordshire County Council which showed 784 attacks on staff between April 2022 and March 2025.
In 2024/25 alone there were 106 injuries and 258 physical or verbal assaults.
Residential workers were impacted the most last year, suffering 74 attacks. Ten led to an injury.
