THE trust running the Royal Stoke has received a £2m cash boost for its 'significant and sustained progress' in reducing waiting times for patients.

The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust - which also runs County Hospital in Stafford - achieved one of the best improvements in elective care across England.
