Vedanta Aluminium celebrates International Day of Yoga across its operations in Odisha

Reaffirms commitment to holistic well-being for employees and communities through large-scale yoga initiatives

VEDANTA Aluminium, India's largest producer of aluminium, celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga with great enthusiasm and participation across its operations at Jharsuguda, Lanjigarh, Ghogharpalli, Kuraloi, Sijimali, and Jamkhani.

In alignment with this year’s global theme - “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, the company hosted rejuvenating yoga sessions that brought together more than1000 employees, students, and community members, underscoring the importance of physical and mental well-being.

At Jharsuguda, a vibrant celebration saw employees and community members come together at two locations - Sarbahal High School and the Vedanta Meadows employee township. Expert trainers from Patanjali Yog Peeth, Brajrajnagar led a yoga session among the young students at Sarbahal High School. Meanwhile, the event at the township introduced employees and their family members to the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices, receiving heartfelt appreciation for fostering a culture of collective wellness.
