Man wanted in ₹88 L Dubai job scam held in Maharashtra after two years on the run

A 38-year-old man, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, has been arrested from Maharashtra's Padgha for duping people on the pretext of providing overseas employment, particularly in Dubai, an official said on Friday.

The accused, Jakir Daud Khan, had been absconding for more than two years and was declared a proclaimed offender in 2024. He became a job consultant after he was defrauded while seeking a Dubai visa in 2015.
