IN the Indian civil service, some members have been known not only for their professional competence but also for their scholastic attainments. One such shining star was Mr. S. Sunderrajan of the Indian Administrative Service of 1958 batch of the Odisha cadre.
He hailed from Tamil Nadu but decided to settle down in Odisha after superannuation and took active interest in social and cultural activities of the place of his residence.
