With Christine Juliane "CJ" Opiaza being named as Miss Grand International 2024, the candidates for this year's Miss Grand Philippines are expected to go through a rigorous selection process to be a worthy successor and the country's best bet.

Who Will Be Miss Grand Int'l 2024 CJ Opiaza's Successor?

Recalling what CJ said in a recent media call for her homecoming as the first Pinay to bag the golden crown, the representative should be present, and her presence should be known to and be felt by the people of the organization, and the judges, if one may add.

The Miss Grand Philippines organization and team, led by its national director Arnold Vegafria, is also taking on the challenge to score a back-to-back win and make sure that the Miss Grand International crown stays in the Philippines.

Although there's only one CJ, the winner of Miss Grand Philippines 2025 should be oozing with confidence and carry such an amiable charisma, resulting in having a commanding presence.

"It's possible for the Philippines to have a back-to-back win this year," remembered Arnold of what Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil said in his Manila visit, during the recent Miss Grand Philippines candidates press presentation and sashing ceremony. Nawat is the president of the Thailand-based Miss Grand International. "Only on the condition that we choose a worthy successor to our reigning Miss Grand International 2024."
