Lance Carr entered the chat! Yup, you heard that right. While the Internet is still thirsting over Clyden Ramirez and Samantha Vera from the hit Wattpad-turned-series, "Avenues of the Diamond," Lance Carr isn't slowing down. In fact, he's just getting started.

Viva's Next Big Leading Man Lance Carr Joins AshDres' 'Minamahal'

The freshly crowned heartthrob is now stepping into even bigger shoes (or should we say, cinema screens?) as he joins the much-anticipated Viva Films project, "Minamahal: Isang Daang Bulaklak Para Kay Luna," top-billed by the AshDres tandem, Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach.

I first met Lance earlier this year when he guested on "One Balita Pilipinas" to promote his "Univerkada" series. I was running late from another coverage and thought I'd miss the segment entirely. But just in time, I made it, and what a refreshing surprise it was.

Lance, alongside Aubrey Caraan, came in poised and low-key but with an unmistakable impact. No loud energy, just a quiet charm that lingered. That day, I knew this guy was going places, even though he had joined the series later than most. And clearly, he is.

Lance now seems poised to prove he's got what it takes to stand toe-to-toe with the country's most promising screen pair, and possibly shake up the love triangle dynamic we didn't know we needed.

Lance, who first stole hearts as a "Pinoy Big Brother: Otso" housemate back in 2018, has been steadily building his résumé.

From supporting roles in "Bawal Lumabas: The Series," "Beach Bros," "Drag You & Me" and "Dirty Linen," the boy-next-door has finally cemented his status as a certified lead with "Avenues of the Diamond," a project that saw fans flooding Viva One and their social feeds.
