Although it was their first time visiting the Philippines, Thai actresses and lead stars of the girls’ love (GL) series “Poisonous Love,” Ginny Natchica and Angelina “Jayna” Stevens, raved about the warm reception of their Filipino fans and the local dishes they tasted.

The two were in Manila last weekend to promote their show, grant interviews, attend a presscon and meet their Pinoy fans.
Thanks to local events promoter CDM Entertainment, The STAR was able to catch up with the equally charming actresses at a hotel in Quezon City, where they shared about working on the series and playfully answered questions in the “This or That” segment.
After introducing themselves in Tagalog and inviting fans to watch “Poisonous Love,” they shared their impressions of the country.
“We didn’t get to like (visit) any attractions yet because like we (just) landed here and then we (did) shooting and filming (for interviews). But one thing that we already got to experience is the friendliness of people here. They’re very welcoming,” Ginny enthused.
“We tried the food (like) sisig, sinigang and halo-halo at a Filipino restaurant. And also the mango drinks and the cheese stick bread. Salty and sweet. So delicious,” Jayna further shared.
“Poisonous Love” is a gripping drama based on the novel by Meenam. According to the media release, the story uncovers the complex and emotional relationship between Dr. Prem Sinee (Ginny), a respected physician, and Pat Napak (Jayna), a gorgeous actress known for her antagonist roles.
