Quiboloy no longer hopes for Camp Crame transfer

The camp of alleged child abuser Apollo Quiboloy will no longer insist on his transfer from the Pasig City jail to the Philippine National Police (PNP) custodial facility at Camp Crame in Quezon City.

Israelito Torreon, lawyer for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), said that while they still feel that Quiboloy would be more secure at Camp Crame, insisting on it "might be useless."

Quiboloy has asked a Pasig court to reverse its decision granting the prosecution's request to transfer the preacher from Camp Crame, where he was first detained, to the Pasig City jail.

Torreon said he is considering withdrawing the pending motion for reconsideration.
