QC posts highest revenue in 2024

The Quezon City government, under the helm of Mayor Joy Belmonte, registered the highest revenue among local government units (LGUs) in 2024, according to the Commission on Audit.
Based on the COA's 2024 Annual Financial Report on Local Governments, Quezon City generated P31.434 billion in revenue as of end-2024, up from P29.143 billion in the previous year.
Quezon City’s earnings proved to be the highest from among 1,694 LGUs covered in the audit report, besting 147 cities, 81 provinces and 1,462 municipalities.
