Palace declares special holidays in provinces

Malacañang has declared special holidays in various parts of the country to celebrate local events and festivals, under proclamations signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin by authority of President Marcos.
-
Proclamation No. 428 declared Jan. 23 a special non-working day in Bulacan to mark the anniversary of the inauguration of the first Philippine Republic at Barasoain church.
Proclamation No. 424 declared Feb. 3 a holiday in Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija, which marks its 74th founding anniversary.
