No classes, gov't work in NCR, Calabarzon today

Classes at all levels, both in public and private schools, as well as work in government offices in Metro Manila and Calabarzon remain suspended today due to expected rainfall from the monsoon-enhanced Tropical Storm Enteng, Malacañang announced yesterday.
“In view of the continuous rainfall brought about by the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm Enteng, and to ensure the safety of the general public, work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region and Region 4A are hereby suspended on Sept. 3, 2024,” Memorandum Circular 63, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, said.
The order, however, does not cover those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness or response to disasters and calamities and/or the performance of other vital services.
