NCR wage board sets pay hike consultations

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) in the National Capital (NCR) has set public consultations for the next round of pay hikes.

According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the public sector consultation is on May 23 while the employers will be consulted on June 4.

"The public hearing is targeted to be held on June 20 and thereafter, the RTWPB will decide on the propriety of adjusting the minimum wage for the region," DOLE said in a statement yesterday.
