MARIAN RIVERA ON MANAGING A HOUSEHOLD AND TAKING CONTROL OF YOUR FINANCES

The task of managing a household and raising children is becoming a collective effort shared by both parents. It's more than just splitting chores; it's about supporting each other, understanding each other better, and showing respect.

Celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes believe in the power of teamwork. Happily married for 10 years now, both recognize that their contributions—inside and outside the home—are equally valuable.

"For instance, we take turns in bringing our children, Zia and Ziggy, to school," Marian shares. "If he doesn't have a shoot or a meeting, we would drive them to school together."

But if there's one thing she does with flying colors—aside from acting and being a hands-on mom, of course—it's the way she handles their household expenses and business ventures.

"Ako talaga ang in charge sa pagbayad ng bills. To stay organized, I prioritize budgeting and take advantage of financial apps to track our income and spending," she notes. "But don't get me wrong! Binibigay ng asawa ko 'yung pambayad."

According to the primetime queen, she even has a notebook where she lists down all the bills that need to be settled.

"I also set a time each week to review our financial goals and adjust as needed. This keeps me focused and ensures we're making smart money decisions," she proudly says.

THE NEW FACE OF PALAWAN GROUP OF COMPANIES

For Marian, growth isn't just about personal success—it's about making smart (money) choices, especially now as hands-on mom, loving and supportive wife, and a businesswoman.

"When I started in show business, my sole focus was my career. Mahirap sa umpisa, but with hard work and perseverance, I achieved my dreams. There were many challenges, but every step was worth it. I'm happy with where I am now, and I'm proud of my journey."

And so, Marian didn't have second thoughts when Palawan Group of Companies approached her to become its brand ambassador.
