LORIN GUTIERREZ REVEALS BEST BEAUTY ADVICE FROM MOM RUFFA, LOLA ANNABELLE

That, however, changed when she hit her 20s.

But that's getting ahead of the story.

Lorin is currently a senior student majoring in Advertising at Pepperdine University, one of the top-ranked Christian liberal arts institutions in the United States. She is set to graduate next year.

She has been dividing her time between Malibu and Manila, and when she's home, she welcomes opportunities like her endorsement deal with Brilliant Skin as the brand's newest ambassador.

"I love brands with strong and inspiring women as their founders. I find them very inspirational as a business minded woman myself, and I've loved watching women take over the business world. Miss Glenda building such a successful company at such a young age reflects her intelligence and sharp eye for marketing and it is such an honor to work with a brand that carries those qualities," she told The STAR in an exclusive email interview.

"Additionally, I always make sure to try a brand's product out prior to accepting an endorsement, to ensure that it actually works for me. I have struggled with acne and my skin is extremely sensitive and picky, so the fact that Brilliant Skin's products helped to make my skin look better was a huge factor for me."
