Kuh Ledesma and daughter Isabella celebrate motherhood, womanhood in 'Oh, Mama Mia'

Last year, Kuh Ledesma and daughter Isabella paid tribute to mothers and the bond they have with their children in the post-Mother's Day concert titled "I Love You Mom." This year, they're mounting another similar show but with a familiar and fascinating title, "Oh, Mama Mia!!!" The date is May 31 while the venue is at the Hacienda Isabella.

"Not really," replied Kuh in an e-mail chat with The STAR to the inquiry if the show was inspired by the ABBA 1975 hit song and the musical. "Although the title 'Mama Mia' may remind people of the ABBA song and the musical, our concept isn't directly inspired by that."

"We simply liked the expression 'Mamma Mia' — it has a nice ring to it, especially for a post-Mother's Day show. It sounds like fun and funny and warm," added she. "And it feels like a perfect expression for celebrating mothers and womanhood in a very special way."

"I Love You Mom" told and depicted the love of a parent for a child and the latter's love for a parent via a collection of tunes.
