JHS, SHS grads qualified to work in gov't

Junior and senior high school graduates under the K-12 basic education program are now eligible to apply for first-level positions in the government, following the Civil Service Commission (CSC)'s revision of its educational requirements.
In a press statement, the CSC announced that the updated policy officially recognizes Grade 10 and Grade 12 graduates as qualified for sub-professional roles in the civil service.
"This policy shift aligns the qualification standards with the outcomes of the K-12 education reforms and aims to broaden opportunities for younger Filipinos to join the civil service," it said.
