Globe to connect 4 M more Pinoys

Globe Telecom is keen on reaching around four million more Filipinos as part of its expansion efforts in 2026.

As of end-November, Globe said its mobile network has been able to cover up to 96.33 percent of the population as a result of sustained investments in fresh assets in new areas, leaving 3.67 percent, or about four million, still unserved.

Globe plans to invest in cell sites in the uncovered areas to expand digital inclusion, especially in geographically isolated towns. Its president and CEO Carl Raymond Cruz said the company would also work with the government in bringing internet access to far-flung areas.
