Globe Puts Up More Cell Towers in Metro Manila

More cellular sites are being deployed by Ayala-led Globe Telecom Inc. in Metro Manila to grow its capacity in a market already suffering from oversaturation.
Globe announced it has put up new towers in Metro Manila, including in Makati, Quezon City, Parañaque and Taguig, to improve service quality.
In Quezon City, the region's most populated city with 3.1 million people, Globe has put up new towers in high-traffic barangays, particularly in Bagong Silangan, Doña Imelda, Loyola Heights, Pasong Putik and San Agustin.
Globe said these areas house primarily educational institutions, so the upgrade benefits students. The telco also sees connectivity improving for businesses and households.
