DSWD Launches Scam-Free Online Platform for Accredited Donors

By modernizing or digitizing the donation process, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has reduced the risks of corruption as donors can now go directly to local government units through an online platform and steer clear of bureaucratic red tape.

The DSWD, under Secretary Rex Gatchalian, recently launched the digital platform Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System (HELPS) and the Kaagapay Donations Portal to ensure faster and more efficient systems at the grassroots level.
