DA Expands P20-Per-Kilo Rice to 4 Areas

Four more areas have been added to the P20-per-kilo rice program of the government, according to the Department of Agriculture.
DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. said the initiative dubbed "Benteng Bigas, Meron Na! Para sa Magsasaka" is now available in Laoag, Ilocos Norte; Roxas, Capiz and San Jose, Occidental Mindoro as well as in Sitio Baloy in Barangay Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City.
