Bystanders kill, rob motorcycle crash victim
The Philippine Star
|September 22, 2025
Police arrested on Saturday a man who killed and robbed a road crash victim of his money and other belongings instead of extending assistance.
Lt. Col. Esmael Madin, Datu Odin Sinsuat town police chief, said a police team, acting on tips from community members, nabbed Palao Bangon Mlok at his hideout in Barangay Bitu.
Initial investigation showed that Mlok, along with his friends who were allegedly drinking liquor and sniffing shabu in a roadside waiting shed, was approached by Daniel Datulayta for help after a motorcycle crash last week.
