Acid test for Llover

Undefeated IBF No. 8 bantamweight Kenneth (Lover Boy) Llover faces the toughest challenge in his budding career when he takes on former two-time world titlist Luis Concepcion of Panama in a scheduled 10-round bout at the Winford Resort and Casino Manila tonight.

Promoter Gerry Peñalosa, himself a former two-time world champion, said while Concepcion is a dangerous opponent, it's time to find out if Llover has what it takes to level up. "Is Llover for real, that's what we want to know," said Peñalosa. "This is a big test. Concepcion is determined to win. He's a proud and experienced veteran. When he arrived, Concepcion told the press it'll be a war and make sure Llover is ready."
