The Leyte police has filed charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as well as violation of the nationwide gun ban against the chief of the Ormoc City police and his six men who were tagged as persons of interest in an attempt to kill Kerwin Espinosa.
ALBUERA, Leyte — The Leyte police has filed charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as well as violation of the nationwide gun ban against the chief of the Ormoc City police and his six men who were tagged as persons of interest in an attempt to kill Kerwin Espinosa.
Leyte police director Col. Dionisio Apas Jr. told The STAR yesterday the provincial police's legal department is still gathering evidence for the possible filing of frustrated murder charges against the officers.
