London Craft Week, which ends today, is not exactly as you might picture it.
Personally, I found the brochure on the intimidating side, flashy corporate names on every other page. Was I tempted by a live demonstration at Louis Vuitton of the making of a classic Capucines bag? Actually, it did sound quite enticing. Sexy artisanal leatherwork was promised. But I worried about what to wear. Toto, I've a feeling we're not in the land of quilting and candle-making any more.
