Iranian Wrestler Mirza wins Chanderkot Kesari Dangal

Wrestler Mohd. Mirza of Iran lifted the Vth Chanderkot Kesari Dangal title defeating Bhupinder of Ajnala in Punjab in the top bout that lasted for 21 minutes at Government Polytechnic College Chanderkot in district Ramban.
Winner Mirza awarded with cash prize of Rs. 81,000 along with traditional 'Gurj (Gadda) and Patta', while runners-up Bhupinder got cash prize of Rs. 70,000.
Dangal was organized by Dangal Committee Chanderkot in support with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of Shiv Kumar Sharma, DySP Majad Ali, Sajid Ali, Assistant Manager J&K Bank and Wazid Ali, Excise Inspector.
The SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh was the chief guest, who gave away cash prizes of Rs. 7,00,000 to winners and runners-up wrestlers. The function was presided over by president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma and former Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council.
